Service Engineer

A manufacturer of niche products and systems for the nuclear industry require an experienced Service Engineer to be based from their Cumbria office. Working predominately at customer sites throughout the North of England to provide high quality after sales support to customers including NDA sites, MOD and other government establishments.


Key Duties:

Pre-delivery inspection, installation, commissioning, record keeping and operation training of the company’s equipment
Attending scheduled and emergency service and repairs at customer sites
Provide out of hours emergency cover
Provide support and training to customers

Candidate Requirements:

Educated to HNC or above in electronics engineering or similar
Previous experience in a field service role including electronics, mechanical and electrical engineering
Full driving licence
Excellent customer service skills
Willing to travel throughout the UK and overseas on occassions

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full government clearance check
