We are looking for a Maintenance Shift Leader to join the Telford site of a global manufacturing organisation. You will be responsible for leading a small team of maintenance engineers to provide planned preventative, routine and emergency in an automated manufacturing site.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

• Leading the engineering team on shift to ensure departmental objectives are achieved and downtime is minimised

• Manage, plan and allocate engineers and resources to complete reactive, planned, preventative and emergency maintenance activities

• Manage installation projects

• Manage and update CMMS

• Coordinate out of hours site response

• Contribute to company continuous improvement activities

 

About you:

 

• Previous management / leadership experience in a similar high volume automated manufacturing environment

• Educated to HNC level or equivalent and hold 18th Edition

• Fault finding and repair experience on PLC’s, electrical, robotic, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems

 

Basic salary between £40,868 - £46,999 plus shift allowance of £6,874

 

Average of 39.12 hours per week, continental shift pattern, days and nights
